Why fit an EP Radiator Guard?

A radiator is designed and positioned to benefit from open and passing airflow, which cools engine coolant flowing through the internal radiator core. Unfortunately, radiators are also ‘open’ to damage from road debris. The BMW F 800 R EP Radiator Guard is designed to protect the radiator’s delicate cooling fins and internal coolant core by preventing stones, grit and other road debris from hitting the cooling fins or puncturing the radiator’s delicate aluminium core. If the radiator does leak the engine can rapidly overheat, which could result in engine damage and slippery coolant getting onto the tyres.

Wir haben eine Liferzeit von ca. 10-12 Werktagen. Da wir die Produkte direkt von Evotech Performance aus UK beziehen und die bekanntlich nicht mehr zur EU gehören, kommt noch der Zoll dazu. Diesen Ablauf haben wir nicht selber in der Hand. Deshalb kann es manchmal zu Verzögerungen bei der Lieferzeit kommen und wir können nicht immer die 10-12 Werktage garantieren. Das tut uns leid, lässt sich in Ausnahmefällen aber leider nicht immer verhindern.
