Do I really need an EP radiator guard?

The answer is yes, most definitely. The EP Radiator Guard protects the BMW R 1250 R Sport radiator from damage caused by stones and other debris – a problem that is all too common with today’s poorly maintained road surfaces. The radiator unit consists of delicate cooling fins and an internal coolant core – the fins easily bend and block the passage of air, which can result in the engine overheating and poor performance. The internal cores can be holed by stones to cause the coolant to leak / spray out, which can cause serious engine damage because of rapid overheating. Leaked coolant on motorcycle tyres will also cause sudden lack of grip.

Diesen Ablauf haben wir nicht selber in der Hand. Deshalb kann es manchmal zu Verzögerungen bei der Lieferzeit kommen und wir können nicht immer die 10-12 Werktage garantieren. Das tut uns leid, lässt sich in Ausnahmefällen nicht immer verhindern.
