What is the reason for fitting an EP Radiator Guard?

The radiator guard protects the Suzuki V-Strom 650 GTA radiator from damage caused by road debris, while at the same time allowing all-important cooling air to pass through. The radiator's cooling fins easily bend, and misaligned fins can restrict cooling air, which can lead to overheating. The radiator's internal coolant-carrying cores are also prone to being holed by stones from being picked up by the front tyre and flung directly into this expensive component. Leaking coolant can make the motorcycle inoperable because of overheating, which, in turn, can lead to engine damage. Coolant can also leak onto the tyres to cause loss of grip.

Wir haben eine Liferzeit von ca. 10-12 Werktagen. Da wir die Produkte direkt von Evotech Performance aus UK beziehen und die bekanntlich nicht mehr zur EU gehören, kommt noch der Zoll dazu. Diesen Ablauf haben wir nicht selber in der Hand. Deshalb kann es manchmal zu Verzögerungen bei der Lieferzeit kommen und wir können nicht immer die 10-12 Werktage garantieren. Das tut uns leid, lässt sich in Ausnahmefällen aber leider nicht immer verhindern.
